Description
- Is whitespace allowed in the xlink:href attribute? If it
is allowed, how is it interpreted? If it is not allowed, what action
is taken when it is found?
-
Opinion
- No, raise error. This is XML, anyway,
so strictness is ok.
- Scope: Robert Barta
- Spaces within a URL are disallowed,
so strings are simply not URLs of they contain them. All spaces should
be escaped (a '%20').
- Scope: Murray Altheim
- yes its allowed. if it doesnt validly
ref something then tough luck.
- Scope: Graham Moore
-
Resolution
- Whitespace is forbidden in URIs
unless it is escaped.
