  • Description
    • Undeciphered script known only from 10 inscriptions found in the city of Byblos during excavations 1928-32. Several attempts at undeciphering have been made, but none accepted, as the material is too limited. It's believed to be a syllabary derived from Egyptian hieratic, used to write some semitic language.
