- My trip to Rome (to do consulting for FAO) had started out disastrously with my laptop being stolen just outside the Colosseum, but I was determined not to miss this rare performance of an early Cilea opera. It turned out to be a rather innocuous comedy of village life (à la Bartered Bride), but pleasant enough.
