- This was the only classical music event we were able to catch during our 3-week holiday in South Africa. The setting was very atmospheric with the stage emerging out of a background of trees in a park on the outskirts of Cape Town, but we were a bit disappointed to discover that the ballet was to be danced to canned music whose sound quality left something to be desired. All the same, it was a pleasant evening (and the Firebird is a great piece of music).
